little dawg

this picture was taken by aunt brooksie when addison was just a few days old and i am happy to report that the shirt still fits! that's amazing given the amount she has grown the past three months. but don't worry bama fans, she had the roll tide photo session soon after this georgia one...much to my dismay. so, we are three days from the big kick off to sec football and i have to admit living in alabama this year is even more obnoxious than ever. i went to costco today and just browsing through i heard THREE different conversations about "nick saban's first game" and "this is bama's year" and "watch out tommy, here we come"...yuck, yuck and yuck. don't fear, my terry is right there with them. so yes, bear bryant has come back from the dead in the body of nick saban to kick off the game at 6:oo central. does anyone see the dilemma?!?! yes, that's right, georgia kicks off at 5:45 central...what oh what will miss addison wear? will it be red and black or crimson and white? i am afraid little miss has two very stubborn and very proud parents that support their teams to an ungoldly level. it will take more than "pick a number" or "rock, paper, scissors" to determine the winner. i know to some this may seem quite trivial, but i am a lone georgia fan in this crazy state and i refuse to become one of them - them being alabama or auburn. so, in order to be true to my alma mater, i must fight for my daughters right to wear the red and black...to yell "go dawgs, sic 'em"...to know who the legendary larry munson is...to learn the art of true tailgaiting...and most of all, prepare to be a future georgia alumnus.
