technology is mind boggling

amazing.

i have talked about twitter before and have yet to actually tweet myself but this phenomenon of twittering a little tweet tweet to other twits amazed me today.

we all love apple. we loved the ipod. we loved the shuffle and nano. we are obsessed with our iphones and macbooks, pros and airs - oh my! and now we have the ipad to drool over. yeah. i am drooling.

yes, the ipad is amazing but what is even more mind boggling to me is that as i was anxiously waiting for the big debut from steve jobs of apple, i made my way over to twitter.com and searched ipad.

of course it is being twitted all over the place but y'all, there were over 2,000 tweets per second from twits about the ipad. that is nuts! and i am sure it is still being twittered at the same rate or even more.

and we wonder why we are in a recession - people, we are too busy twittering, or facebooking, or just playing with our iphones...or blogging like me, when we should be working.

oh man, i love technology.
