i love christmas. i mean L.O.V.E. christmas. the whole dang month. i am {one of those} who could definitely celebrate from november 1 on. i love the hustle and bustle. the excitement. the family, the traveling, the cookies and cakes. the everything. oh man. i love christmas.
i don't successfully do recaps {you know the beach recap? yep, still waiting on that one myself}. so here is an attempt at a christmas recap - part 1.
we have an elf. we love our elf. our elf is laid back. he is a ray lamontagne listening, coffee sipping, head bobbing kind of elf. i like to think he is a pretty chill kid up there in the northern regions. i mean, his name is chilly.
chilly arrived to kick off christmas with a oh-so-healthy breakfast for the kiddos, a letter, and some little goodies to remind them christmas is about Jesus. oh that silly chilly. it was fun to have him around for a month.
and then the dreaded oh-so-fun gingerbread house making. i am still giggling. let's just say that mommy had to pound into addison's head that her's was NOT edible. and thank you mr. glue gun inventor, you saved me.
then the dreaded happened. my lens broke. no pics of briarwood nativity with sweet friends, school christmas party, neighborhood christmas party with some fabulous tacky attire, christmas with the dobson's and all the kiddos in tow, the BIG krack family christmas, women's christmas brunch at church, ect, ect. sigh. but just in time terry did manage to snag a new lens at a local camera shop. merry christmas to me.
